A People Adrift

Check out James Bennet's two-part series on Palestinians, "A People Adrift", in the New York Times. It ran on the front page of yesterday and today's papers.

Aw, you got a livejournal name to comment on my livejournal, so I have to get a blogspot name to comment on your blog? is that how this works? :-)

but anyway, congrats on joining the blogging world. i feel like mine might disappear when school starts, but we'll see.

is this your way of making your "read this interesting article" emails available to everyone rather than just the people you think might be interested?

1. Yes, something like that. I find blogspot to be more simple and aesthetically (sp?) pleasing than livejournal, but perhaps we'll have to have a brawl some day to finish this debate once and for all. Or not.

2. Yeah, I think once school starts blogging would be a dangerous use of time. There's no need to blog there.

3. Something like that. Speaking of which, I'm now going to make a post regarding something that I had emailed a few people about, but not enough.

I got a livejournal because I thought that it was simpler and more aesthetically pleasing. I guess we just have different perceptions of simplicity and tastes in aesthetics...

I like blogger because you can customize everything about your page and it seems more like a "real" blog than livejournal. you can probably customize livejournal more if you work hard at it but i like customizing blogger because i have learned all about html from it!
